ConnectUO 2.0.2.2 Beta Released

Ok, finally found some time, sorry for the long wait. So the most recent plague of issues with ConnectUO has been patching. The problem was when clicking a server to play, it wouldnt find the patches for the server. After hours of debugging, I had found the problem... and what a stupid problem it was. I don't have much of an explination as to what caused it, but I can certainly say it was a problem with SQLLite, and their ADO.Net implementation. If you do not know what any of that means, not a problem, just thought I'd share. Anyway, thankfully this issue can be put away and I can continue the fun part of ConnectUO which is making it bigger and better.

Changelog 2009/01/14 - Beta Version 2.0.2.2

*** Fixes ***
Fixed a problem with the SQLLite database.  The primary key for the Server table 
was somehow reset to auto increment.  This was causing servers to have an improper
ID, and caused lots of issues with patching.
Fixed the settings screen, the Launch Razor and Patch Client Encryption 
Checkboxes should work again

Couple of issues since this patch was applied to my computer.

-fails to remove client encryption
-"Ultima Online Client has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
-Can't get into any server because one or the other issue above occurs

Not sure as to either issues.. but i will go ahead and uninstall/reinstall see if it helps.

(im back! and still alive! had both surgeries and am doing a bit better now)

Is that with or without Razor?

2 things, do you have any crashes in the debug.log. Also do you have the latest update (2.0.2.21)?

i have all latest updates...
now its just not removing encryption..
tried uninst/reinstalling.. nothing there

In the settings, when you change the checkbox to remove enc. When you close and re-open, does it reflect your change?

nope...tried encryption on and off and restarted cuo with each change.. made no difference.. still says client encrypted in runuo.

ok why does connect uo... quit responding while downloading patches.... and have noticed another big problem is when someone hits the play button it causes my server to lag and players freeze up... every time I make patches for my shard connect uo doesnt work properly... I then have to get patches to my players.

You must be doing something wrong, when it crashes you need to show me the debug.log found in the installation folder, without it your guess is as good as mine.... Also, don't play UO on the same machine as your server....

Those are the errors im looking for, thats for the RSS feed which is down, and doesnt break CUO. Can you post the WHOLE file? Then you running UO through CUO isn't stopping the server, or if it is, its something wrong with your PC. If CUO was the problem, UO Gamers would freeze everytime someone tried to connect through CUO and it doesn't. This problem is unique to you.

Every thing is running ok since the last update for connectuo ..... So wasnt my PC.

well my rss feed in my cuo is broken and server status and players dotn update

Ya its been broken for months, its something with VB not CUO, VB isnt updating the RSS for some stupid reason...

also the servers arent updating here and there but rarely i jsut made a server 2 days ago still at 0% uptime and 0 players and etc... like a new shard posted :S ever since connectuo was changed to this look and stuff.

Aye, been dealing with this for some time, something weird is happening with the poller, it likes to just stop working without indication as to why, its been really fun to try to figure out </sarcasm>
